Earth in General
Earth is set in approx. the year 3004, where less than two eights of the population survived the devastating Ending X disease. Many means of technology have been destroyed, including cars, airplanes, trains, anything that was harmful to Earth's economy. New creatures have creeped up from who knows where, and the four groups of people have been discovering alliances and rivalries left and right.
Accrendo Weyr
The "Earth" weyr, which has yet to have any weyrlings or riders at all. It is situated at the northern end of Accrendo Crest Island, the main building(s) constructed in front of two large mountains (which in turn hold the Rider Weyrs and Weyrling Rooms) and next to a HUGE forest. They have sea access to the right of the weyr and to the left is the island's only lake, Lake Salutation. They are rather close to the forest.
Bendort Weyr
The Pern-in-Earth weyr. They are at the southern end of Accrendo Crest Island, in a huge plain, a deep canyon, a HUGE forest, and the very last stretch of Lake Salutation. The canyon, which have deep pockets in it, hold the Rider's Weyrs. The main buildings rest in the plain, closer to the canyon than the lake and nowhere near the forest.
The American Salvation Settlement
Situated in the old New England of the USA, this rather large group occupies the center of the large forests and mountains that riddle that land. They have the large Headquarters, settled near the coast, and many other smaller buildings for houses and Craft Centers. The crafts that they hold are Fishing, Creature 101 (all the other three groups have this craft), Music Composers, and Deorlf Handlers.
The European Standout Settlement
Large, open plains, some cliffy areas and a few forests lay out the map for this Settlement. The main Headquarters are on the edges of the largest plain, and next to one of the larger forests as well. They have a few scattered homes, though none seem to be in the cliff area; they hold the crafts: Creature 101, Farming (crops), Technology Rebuilding, Art Creaters and Gryphon Handlers.
The Asian Reminiscing Settlement
In wide open meadows and tangling jungles, this Settlement is the second smallest. Their headquarters are too near the coast, just outside the outerreaches of the jungle. Buildings are scattered, concentrated in the meadows rather than the jungles. They hold the following crafts: Creature 101, Farming (animals and crops), Fishing, Dolphin Handlers AND Orcalo Handlers.
